The palette of dreams? When I saw Urban Decay were releasing the Alice In Wonderland Palette I was in love but at the time I couldn't afford it so I just looked at pretty pictures of it online. A few weeks after the release my boyfriend surprised me with it as a anniversary present. Boy did good as they say! Urban Decay is one of my favourite brands but I don't actually own any of the Naked Palettes.. shocking I know. I knew I wanted this palette because I don't have any other palette's or shadows which include bright colours so this is perfect. It doesn't only include bright colours but some lovely neutral ones too.
Firstly lets just take a moment and admire how beautiful the packaging is! It is honestly the most gorgeous packaging I have ever seen. Urban Decay really went above and beyond with the design of this palette. It comes in a cardboard box with two compartments. When you lift the lid you see a large mirror and then to little doors with the well known Alice in Wonderland Quote. Once you open the doors up pops this 3d butterfly and it has bright patterns all over the packaging. Underneath the butterfly is a draw which you pull out and there are all of the shadows. You get twenty shades mixed of shimmers and mattes. I was honestly amazed at how buttery these shadows felt and how pigmented they are.
STUNNING is the only word I can use right now. My favourite shades have to be Royal Flush, Salazen Grum, Reflection, Kingdom and Heads Will Roll. Some people might be scared of the bright shades but there are ways to make them work. You can use the brighter shades as a pop of colour under your bottom lash line or use them over the lid and blend them out with lighter shades. This palette is available from the Urban Decay Website.
Overall I am in love with this palette, so happy my boyfriend got me it.
Have you got this palette?
