Top 5 Concealers Review

Top 5 Concealers Review

I have recently really updated my concealer collection and found some new favourites. I usually depending on how my skin is i will use two concealers as i find some work better for other things. I do struggle with dark under eye circles and the odd breakouts. I do need to mention my holy grail concealer isn't in this post as i recently dropped and smashed it! It is of course the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, it is the perfect under eye concealer and covers my dark circles perfectly and the concealer lasts me around 3 months!

I had been using the Revlon Colorstay Foundation for a while and i have a love hate relationship with it but i decided to try the concealer. It works really well along with the foundation and blends like a dream. This is really good for under eyes or blemishes.

My newest addition which i have been loving! I do find it is not enough coverage under my eyes but if your under eyes are not dark then this would be perfect for you but for me it works really well as a highlighter and brightens up my eye area. This one is very similar to the Nars Creamy Concealer.

If you read my blog you will know one of my favourite full coverage foundations is the Seventeen Stay Time Foundation which is just amazing! I have to admit i do love the foundation more than the concealer. On a good day i use my eye cream and also this concealer which does help to reduce to the darkness.

I know the UK Based website has closed down but you can still either get this on ebay or from Beauty Joint which has very cheap postage to the UK! This concealer is unreal, it covers under my eyes and also i love to use this one when i have breakouts. It is thicker but not heavy which is perfect. I also love how it comes in a squeezy tube.

I bought this after reading a review online. The texture is very thick but once warmed up with your finger it does become easy to apply. I have found it to be a little too heavy under my eyes and works best on blemishes or breakouts. I did find it a little drying on my oily skin so i dont know if it would work well on dry skin. If you are after a high coverage concealer this could well be it.

  1. I've heard good things about the Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer. I actually put off using concealer at all for years because I thought only the really expensive ones would actually work. I use Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer every day now and I love it.

  2. I've heard a lot of people say the UD Naked Skin concealer is even better than the Nars one. I was planning on picking up trying out the Nars concealer, until the UD popped up and now I'd rather try that one :)

  17. I don't really wear concealer so I cannot say that I have tried out any of these, but for those special occasions, where I might want the extra cover, I would be quite interested in the NAKED concealer. Thanks for a comprehensive review.
